Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to take ownership of significant parts of our platform, from cloud services and APIs to the customer-facing web application. You'll lead technical design on major initiatives, raise the bar on code quality, and coach fellow engineers, working closely with Product, Design, and Data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership
- Lead design and implementation of major features across the full stack
- Own architectural decisions for services, data models, and integrations
- Set standards for testing, observability, security, and developer experience
- Mentor engineers and drive our engineering culture forward
2. Backend & Cloud Architecture
- Architect and operate cloud services on Microsoft Azure
- Design and evolve APIs, background jobs, and integration patterns
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and deployment pipelines
- Own performance, reliability, and cost characteristics of key services
3. Frontend & User Experience
- Ship high-quality frontend code (Vue.js) that customers love
- Shape shared components, patterns, and the design system
- Advocate for accessibility, performance, and craft
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product to break down ambiguous problems into shippable increments
- Collaborate with Data on models and features that ship into production
- Provide input on hiring, technical strategy, and roadmap decisions

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in software development on SaaS products (microservices)
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience with containers and dockerization
- Strong experience with relational databases (Postgres) and REST APIs
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
