Role Overview
We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help build and scale the Heylist platform end to end. You'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and implementation to testing, deployment, and support. You'll write cloud services, ship features in our web app, and work with data from internal systems and external APIs, always with strong security practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Backend & Cloud Services
- Design, build, and operate cloud services on Microsoft Azure
- Own APIs, background jobs, and integrations with external platforms
- Contribute to infrastructure and deployment (Terraform, containers)
- Instrument services for reliability, performance, and observability
2. Frontend Development
- Build customer-facing features in our web application (Vue.js)
- Collaborate with Design to translate mockups into polished UI
- Write accessible, responsive, and performant frontend code
- Contribute to shared components, patterns, and design system
3. Data & Integrations
- Model and query relational data in Postgres
- Integrate with social platform APIs (Meta, TikTok, and others)
- Apply security best practices for data access and third-party APIs
- Support analytics needs alongside Data Science and Data Engineering
4. Team Practices
- Participate in code reviews, planning, and technical discussions
- Write clear documentation for services, features, and decisions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our engineering practices
What You'll Own
- Delivery of end-to-end features across backend, frontend, and data layers
- Quality, reliability, and maintainability of the services you build
- Documentation of the code and systems you touch
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a software development team on a SaaS product (microservices)
- Experience with containers and dockerization
- Advanced experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres)
- Experience with APIs and REST principles

- Cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure and IaC (Terraform)
- Vue.js (frontend) and Azure Functions (serverless backend)
- Python and data analysis
